FAQ
Questions, answered
What is Sound and Vision?
An instrument plugin with two doors. SOUND: drop in any audio and it is auto-tuned and mapped across the keyboard, with a SUSTAIN engine that holds any hit forever. VISION: drop in any image and it becomes a wavetable you can scan. Six console characters (NES, Game Boy, N64, PS1, PS2, B3) reskin the desk and change the sound together, and a three-slot TAPE FX rack sits on the desk.
Is there a free trial?
Yes: the full plugin for 3 days from first launch, no key needed. After that it goes quiet until you enter a key. Nothing is deleted; your presets and projects stay exactly where they are.
How do I activate it?
Your key is in the receipt email. Open the plugin, right-click anywhere on the desk, choose ABOUT, then LICENSE, and paste the key in. It needs the internet once to activate; after that it works offline.
How many computers can I use it on?
Three at the same time - desktop, laptop and a spare. It is one license for one person, not a shared key.
I got a new computer or reinstalled Windows. What now?
Open the license panel (ABOUT, then LICENSE) on the old machine and choose Deactivate to free the slot, then activate on the new one. If the old machine is gone, contact support with your order email and we will free the slot for you.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt email or contact support. The 3-day trial exists so you never have to buy blind.
Which DAWs does it work in?
Any host that loads VST3 or CLAP on 64-bit Windows: FL Studio, Ableton Live, Bitwig Studio, REAPER, Studio One, Cubase and others. There is also a Standalone app if you just want to play.
Is there a Mac version?
Coming after the Windows launch: AU, VST3 and CLAP as one notarised installer for Apple Silicon and Intel. One license will cover both platforms.
Where do my presets live?
Presets are .svp files you save wherever you like - a preset carries its sample or image inside it, so it moves between machines as one file. The installer and the uninstaller never touch them.
How do I get support?
Reply to your receipt email, or use the support address listed on this page once the store opens. Include your DAW, your Windows version and what you dropped in - a screenshot of the CRT helps.
A support address goes live with the store. Until then, reply to your receipt email.
